Dr. Bill Mulliken has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in the Seattle area for more than 25 years. A life-long resident of Washington and a Bellevue High School graduate, Dr. Mulliken studied chemistry as an undergraduate and graduated from the University of Washington Dental School in 1980.

Currently, Dr. Mulliken is a respected member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Great Blue Heron, a component of the Seattle Study Club, and the Crown Council, a national group of leading-edge dentists committed to providing exceptional care.

Dr. Mulliken's commitment to continuing education helps him provide the highest quality dentistry for his patients in Mill Creek and the Seattle area. Trained as both a restorative and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Mulliken utilizes the latest techniques and materials to restore both the beauty and strength of his patients' smiles. As part of his future efforts to stay up to date on the latest advances in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Mulliken will be continuing his association and education with the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum at the University of Pacific in San Francisco, one of the world's most respected cosmetic dentistry training programs. Most recently, he completed some of the most advanced functional and aesthetic courses available in dentistry.

Dr. Mulliken has three children. As a family they enjoy boating and snow skiing. He also enjoys traveling, tennis, fly-fishing, and scuba diving.

Joan is a key member of our business and patient relations team. Joan oversees all three doctors and keeps the office running smoothly and timely. She brings to our team more than 25 years in customer service along with the Nordstrom philosophy in client relations. Ask Joan how she can make your visit more comfortable. Joan is currently enjoying her newfound passion as a grandma. She also enjoys traveling overseas, her latest trip taking her on a safari in South Africa.

Karen – Treatment and Financial Coordinator

Karen is the voice on the phone and the smile at the front desk. She is our primary treatment and financial coordinator, specializing in facilitating financial plans that fit into the patient’s lifestyle. She always goes the extra mile to help schedule your appointment and answer any questions you may have on treatment plan options. Karen brings more that 35 years of dental experience to the practice and also has first hand experience in smile design. She started her career as a dental assistant and over the years found her true passion is helping the patients at the front desk. Karen and her husband of more than 30 years enjoy spending time with there two sons, their wives and their pride and joy, two grandsons. Together they love to travel and entertain friends and family. She loves a great Motown song on her ipod and sports purple during Husky Football season. Go Dawgs!!!!!!

Kim – Insurance Benefit and Billing Coordinator

Kim is a vital part of our practice and patient relations team. She works hard to stay on top of the latest insurance information and benefits. She is an expert at deciphering our patient’s coverage and diligent in helping patients maximize their treatment benefits. Kim is well versed in the dental office bring over 34 years of dental experience, both clinical and administrative. Kim and her husband have 3 grown sons. She enjoys spending time with family, fishing, reading and interior design.

Stacy – Dental Assistant

Stacy has worked for Dr. Bill since 1991. She started out as a patient and decided to go though the Dental Assistant program at Lake Washington Technical College. Stacy’s goal is to make all of our new patients comfortable and she goes to all lengths to create a five-star atmosphere. She is our concierge for outstanding patient relations. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care with the greatest amount of comfort. Stacy assists with all clinical procedures and always goes the extra mile to make our patients feel at home. She keeps our team organized and running smooth and timely. Stacy also oversees and manages our sedation dentistry program. Sedation dentistry is a safe, sleep-like state where you are comfortable and at ease to complete years worth of dentistry in just one or two visits. Stacy and her husband enjoy taking family vacations and spending time with friends. They always welcome the opportunity to escape to Las Vegas for a little gambling; however their true fortune is at home with their 12 year old twins.

Cheryl – Dental Assistant

Cheryl has been in the field of dentistry for over 25 years. She has worked for Dr. Mulliken for most of them. Cheryl assists with all clinical procedures and excels at helping our patients achieve the beautiful smiles they deserve. Cheryl specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. Her cosmetic dentistry skills have been enhanced at PacLive. PacLive is one of dentistry’s premier live patient, hands-on continuing educations programs in the United States. Cheryl is often complemented for being attentive to our patients needs, making sure that they understand and are comfortable during all phases of smile design. Cheryl is comfortable with the latest developments in dental technology and materials, therefore allowing her to provide the highest standard of care and comfort to our patients. Cheryl and her husband keep busy with their 3 sons, and many outdoor activities.

Jenny – Dental Hygienist

Jenny grew up in Oregon and Washington. She attended Ricks College in Idaho for her dental hygiene prerequisite course and the earned a Dental Hygiene degree at Lake Washington Technical College. She has worked with Dr. Mulliken since 2000 and enjoys the wonderful people at Mill Creek Family Dentistry. At home, Jenny and her husband have 4 kids who keep them very busy! With her family, Jenny likes to bike ride and camp. Her hobbies are reading, exercising and baking.

Yuri - Dental Hygienist

Yuri has joined Dr. Mulliken’s team in 2007. She has been in the dental field over 14 years, working as a dental hygienist in the U.S and Japan. She is passionate about providing a high quality of care with the newest knowledge and technologies in a caring environment. She loves getting to know patients and helping to maintain and improve their oral health and smile. Yuri earned her hygiene degree from Shoreline Community College. She also graduated from the University of Washington where she received the advance training in dental hygiene education. She lives in Mill Creek with her husband “Ray” and a loving golden retriever “Lana”. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, doing yoga, and playing tennis.

Christie – Dental Assistant

Christie has been part of Mill Creek Family Dentistry team since September 2007. She was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon where she graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Lane Community College in 1989. Christie is our Children’s Preventive specialist and ZOOM! Whitening expert. She is highly skilled in our in-office whitening system, and she loves helping patients achieve the whiter and brighter smiles that they are seeking. She relies on her past experience in Pediatric Dentistry when working with children, and enjoys helping them with the tools they need to maintain outstanding dental health as they grow. Christie is married to her high school sweetheart, and has three wonderful children. Away from the office she enjoys reading, walking, traveling and rooting for her favorite college football team.

Brett – Dental Hygienist

Brett is a dental hygienist that began working for Dr. Mulliken in the summer of 2006. He has been a patient of Bill’s since 2000. Brett specializes in the prevention of oral health disease. He is passionate about educating his patients, thus enabling them to combat dental decay with proper homecare techniques and dietary decisions. Brett received a degree in integrated studies before attending dental hygiene school. He graduated from the Lake Washington Technical College Dental Hygiene program. Brett joined the Mulliken team shortly after graduating. When Brett and his wife Kristen are not at their home in Woodway, they love to spend time traveling. In addition, Brett loves running, mountain biking, reading and playing his guitar.
